Dear Olivia,
I'm in the 10th grade and there is a girl in my class who is antangonizing me over my ex boyfriend. She is now dating him and today at lunch, she kept talking about him in front of me. I had to walk away because I was at the point where I did not fear suspension if I hit her. What am I supposed to do?

Dear A,
If my math is correct, you're only 14. 14 years old is way too young to stress over a boy. What has he accomplished at 14 that makes him so great or worth fighting over? Is he fighting over you?
It sounds like this girl just wants to get under your skin. She is not worth the consequences of getting violent. You're very emotional right now so it's best to separate yourself from her until you can handle being around her. Even if you never see her again in life, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you were the bigger person. See she needs to play tricks and be mean to feel good about herself, but you don't have to. That is unnecessary drama. You have the rest of your life ahead of you and a teenage boy is nothing to throw it away for. Remember, sometimes life gives you two options: losing yourself or losing someone else. Regardless of the situation, don't lose yourself.
I hope this helps. Keep me updated.
Until then,
xXOliviaXx
