Today's Guest Post comes from Farrah Styles and originally appeared here. I had the good fortune of meeting her last year December and now we've come together for this inspirational post. Thank you so much Farrah!

Have you ever had that moment when you were going through something and everyone else around you seemed to be so happy and successful and it’s like ‘What the heck is wrong with me? Everyone is so freakin’ happy!’
The grass usually seems greener on the other side because everyone doesn’t go around voicing all of the things they’re going through. Some people keep the bad to themselves and only highlight the positive aspects to people. Some people glory in making others think they’re life is perfect–
But it’s not.
And it doesn’t make sense falling into the delusion that no one else is going through what you’re going through, because that will only make you feel worse about yourself.
I remember in high school when I was having problems with my self-image and all of my friends were very beautiful. I would always think to myself ‘They’re so much prettier than me, I don’t feel pretty’. And eventually, you know what I found out? They actually felt the same way- they didn’t feel that pretty either because they felt that the other was prettier. So it wasn’t just me after all!
I also just recently started blogging again after some time off and doubts. And I was inspired to start again because of another blogger who I’d spoken with last year to collaborate with. She reminded me about our conversation and I took that as a sign. Come to find out- I realized that she had a similar situation like me before after reading one of her old posts: ‘Why I Stopped Blogging‘.
There are many scenarios I can give, but you get the point right? You’re not the only one! YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONNNNEEEE!
So get over it and forget about all the people who remind you about your flaws. Ignore the voices in your head that make you feel like the only imperfect human because you’re not. There is someone– if only ONE person in the whole wide infinity world (sorry for the ridiculous emphasis) who can relate with what your facing right now.
Stop fretting and embrace your weaknesses. If you focus on overcoming your trials, you can overcome them. And as you overcome them, you can share it with someone else going through the process so they would know that ‘Hey, if she/he did it, then so can I.’
Think about it :)
