DIY Baby Rose Sugar Scrub

I've never received a bouquet of flowers (mainly because they always irritated my eyes, and I can't stand the smell of most flowers), but I have always admired roses. Roses and orchids. Sometimes my mum would receive flowers but even after they died, she would still keep them. So our home would be adorned with dead, brown flowers because my mother believed she was making potpourri. Well today, thanks to Smart School House, I can give you another option for wilting flowers besides "potpurri."

For this DIY sugar scrub recipe, you will need:

  • 1.5 cups of plain white sugar

  • 1/4 cup of baby oil

  • 12 rose petals

  • a food processor/blend/old fashion mortar and pestal

  • a pretty jar

Here’s how this magical little rose scrub comes together:

Just blend until everything is combined!

If you prefer a smoother sugar scrub, simply add more baby oil. The sugar fluffs it up, the oil smooths it out.

Aside from being gorgeous, roses are *thought* to contribute to our well being.

This scrub leaves your skin baby soft and smooth! I love it already! So keep it for yourself or use it as a nifty Christmas gift. This project costs little to no money, smells great and is great for you too!
