Happy Monday!
Wow today was long! I started my first day of vacation off with a full day of photoshoots! But before I get into today, I have to tell you about Sunday.
I went to my friend's office Christmas party last night at Senor Frogs and had a blast!

The party didn't end until 2 am, so I was running off of four hours of sleep for
today's photoshoot. It's amazing. I think I do better at photoshoots when I don't get enough sleep. I coordinated outfits much more quickly and was able to think on my feet like a ninja! Even better? I've got two weeks to recover from all of this hard work!
What's this photoshoot for you may ask? Well if you've been following me on instagram, you may have noticed that I have been in talks with a new blogger to help her get started. I may not be the most known blogger but I think I've learned a thing or two in my nearly 3 years of blogging (yes my blog turns 3 on New Years Day). So while a friend of mine from Canada, who happens to be one of the best photographers I've ever worked with, is in town, I thought I'd ask him to help us out with some headshots to prepare for her launch and my re-branding. I was the head stylist and creative director on this shoot, which I genuinely enjoy doing. And you guys get a front row view of some of the behind the scenes events. I also want to shoutout Wildfire Pizza & Bar for being so accomidating while we ate and shot in their restaurant. I had the Mushroom & Spinach and the Veggie pizzas. It was so good! I loved having something healthy but still getting the feeling that I was indulging! Check them out if you're in the area. They're so great!
We started the day off in makeup before moving to the location.

It was because of Wildfire and Sushi Rokkan that we were able to shoot everything on one location!
It was also because of my AMAZING makeup artist William Moultrie for making us look like Hollywood dolls and the mega-talented photographer CJ Cromwell for doing this shoot for us!

Then we broke for lunch. I should warn you, this restaurant doesn't take cards yet so you'll have to pay cash. But the setting is great. I felt like I was in a genuine Chicago pizza bar (minus the deep dish pizza). It was modern and chic, but still felt homely.

Lunch was great! I loved how helpful the staff was! Even when we had a mixup with our order, they so were quick to smooth things over. Bottom line, good atmosphere, good pizza, good service. Check them out! I think my entire crew would agree that these guys get a thumbs up! Stay tuned for some amazing shots from todays photoshoot! I can't wait to show you guys what we've been working on!
