Rainy Day Playlist

Everyone just take a deep breath because IT'S FRIDAY!And not just that, today is my Best Friend (of 13 years), Steven's birthday! He's joining the Quarter of a Century Club with the rest of us so now the only one left is Amanda! I wish I could celebrate this milestone with him, but he knows that I'm sending him lots of love from The Bahamas!

So did you guys have an awesome week? Do you have any plans for the weekend? I know my plans are gonna be a bit up in the air because of this weather. It's been raining heavily since Tuesday. I usually like the rain, but sometimes it prevents me from going places (like my pole class), traffic becomes a nightmare, and I have the worst lethargy ever! It was when I was driving home on Wednesday in the rain, that I realised I don't have a rainy day playlist. I tend to like slow to mid tempo music on rainy days. Something with a bit of a romantic feel perfect for cuddling. But since my long distance relationship doesn't allow for my cuddle time, I had to add a few not so lovey-dovey songs into the mix so that I wouldn't get sad.

I added a few songs that put me in the mood for kareoke, and some songs that make me either want to skip down the street (if it weren't raining of course) or pretend like I'm some world class dancer in front of the mirror. Here's my playlist for a rainy day. Whether you're in the car, in the office, or brainstorming for your 10-15 page paper you have due for class on Sunday, like me, sometimes the perfect playlist is all you need to get you through.
