Quality Encapsulations provided me with the product for free in exchange for a review, therefore this is a paid post. The opinions I share about this product are my own and Quality Encapsulations did not tell me what to say or how to say it.
As you all know, swimsuit season is coming up so it's time to get cracking. And we all know how hard it is to lose that winter weight. So there's no shame in getting a little help. For the past two weeks, I've been jogging in the afternoon three times a week with my best friend (as you may have noticed on my Instagram (hit Follow while you're there).
I started off slow, with just one teaspoon a day because I read warnings that the side effects could be severe if it's too strong for you. I decided it was best to not overdo it especially since I was exercising and only want to lose about 5 lbs.
While I haven't actually lost any weight or inches, I did notice that I ate less because of it. At least for the most part.(Although there was that one day this week that I ate everything in sight because my appetite was in overdrive).I must admit, this thing does taste pretty good. It's almost like liquid nutella. So while I didn't mind the taste, I couldn't remember to take it an hour before all of my meals (just because meal time is somewhat unpredictable with my job). And once you take this, you WANT to eat within the hour.
I read that you can mix it with your coffee in the morning. I tried that once, but can't guarantee I'll do that too often. It dilutes the coffee so that the taste isn't as strong. And I like my coffee strong!
I'll continue to use it until the bottle is empty but beware:
1. If you don't have a lot of weight to lose like me, don't take too much of it
2. Schedule your meals every day so that you don't overear
3. Check for any allergies to Yacon Syrup (it's the only ingredient)
4. Don't expect results immediately. (Most diets fail because people expect results immediately and get discouraged when they get what they want).
I hope my review has helped you make a decision before starting your next diet.Below I've included some nutrition facts for you to mull over.·
The syrup, distilled from the Peruvian tuber yacon -- contains up to 50 percent fructooligosacharides, or FOS. FOS, classified as a prebiotic, is a non-caloric sweetener and also a fiber source.·

It was used by the Incas. In Peru, people eat yacón because of its nutritional properties—few calories and low sugar levels. In Bolivia, yacón roots are eaten by people with diabetes or other digestive and renal disorders. In Brazil, the dried leaves are used to make yacón tea, said to be antidiabetic.
